yahoo has taken to referring to palestinian terrorists as “militants”. in this story, scarcely a word is mentioned about the “militants” mentioned in the headline, but israel’s policies (however questionable you may find them) are mentioned at every opportunity.
it should be noted that it is perfectly all right to distinguish average law-abiding (although justifiably dissatisfied) palestinians from terrorist groups like hamas and islamic jihad, which should be mercilessly exterminated. i’m disappointed with palestine for not “minding its own store”, as it were; it has not done enough to crush these groups, which give them all - even the good ones, the lion’s share - a bad name.
am i a bad person because i notice these things? is it a coincidence that i notice capital-P “President Saddam Hussein” still being referred to by his full title? think about it.
