a note on local advertising
I’ve been drinking tonight and playing Guild Wars for long stretches all day, so bear with me.
If I see that commercial where Spangles tries to relate to hipsters by advertising their coffee-ice cream whatever the fuck it is with that “punky” chick with the dyed hair one more time, I’m going to drive downtown and punch some hobos in the face.
And then I’m going to cling to some assault rifles and a Gideon’s Bible I stole from a Best Western in Garden City to use as a riser for my computer monitor to make myself feel better.
I might even give my Korean neighbors the hairy eyeball. Just for good measure.
