Love Beirut. Love M. Ward. Warm on Joanna Newsome. Own all their albums.
Still, tough to look at this list and conclude that you’re hipster-free. Really tough.
That said, I’ve got tix to the following concerts this month:
• Neko Case at Liberty Hall. (John Rauhouse opens, and believe me, that’s worth the price of admission on its own.)
• Black Angels at the Bottleneck.
• Decemberists at Uptown in KC.
So I’m not exactly hipster-free either, I suppose.
Anyhoo, Sirius sounds good for your listening habits. I’m doing fine with KEXP.org live radio and podcasts. Opened up whole new worlds for me.

Sure wouldn’t mind going to see Neko. The Decemberists don’t do anything for me. Their singer’s voice is whiny. Their sound annoys me.
That is hipster heresy.
