As you know, if you’ve been following events here, I took the Society of Actuaries Course P exam today — and unofficially passed.*

All of a sudden, I don’t feel like such a robot. I have time now, for a while, to think — and write. Also, I actually feel like saying something worthwhile.

I’ll be making a return to regular blogging soon. I’d like to send a hearty “thank you” out to all those who’ve wished me well over the past two months.

UPDATE: By the way, I’ve turned my “instant message” IDs back on. The handles are available on my bio page.

*: I’ll know the official results in five to six weeks. However, due to the nature of the Society of Actuaries (being, you know, actuaries and therefore experts in risk minimization), I would characterize the chance that I was told that I passed but actually failed as vanishingly small.
