Watching your server logs fill with the wonderful visits of human beings after having summarily purged your site of spamming douchebags, that’s what.

I had been getting about 120 attempts per day along with the 200 or so total (non-unique) daily human visits. Last night I had eight, which drew 403 errors for their efforts.
