creationist lies about k-state professor

A Creationist advocate has willfully misrepresented the views of a Kansas State University geologist and defender of what is called “theistic evolution”. The gory details are available by way of the Scientific American blog. Liberal blogger Ed Brayton does the heavy lifting. I took the time to read all the posts, and you should too. Make no mistake: Brayton has the man dead-to-rights.

Sure, I’ll pile on: Can you find one “intelligent design” or Creationism advocate who — even after months of what was previously a thoughtful debate — hasn’t eventually resorted to obfuscation, personal attacks, or outright lies?

I haven’t yet.
