sebelius in ethics trouble?
If the story is accurate, it sounds like penny-ante stuff. It appears that she sent e-mails to lobbyists that contained a link in the sig file to her re-election campaign Web site where donations are solicited.
In Kansas, it is illegal for any elected official to solicit campaign contributions from lobbyists during a Legislative session. The session has not ended yet; and it may extend until July if a school finance solution doesn’t happen.
As I said, this appears to be Mickey-Mouse, but compiled with the recent problems Legislators and judges have been having, it gives… the wrong impression.
