I’m thinking about doing a “best of evolution” list or something. Nominate your favorite evolution posts in the comments; specific posts, please.

The nominees (some of them I’m nominating):

• onward, chariot — a poem I wrote in 2001 and posted in June 2003.
• how many chinese people can you fit in an elevator? — a funny story from when I was at Purdue, in October 2003.
• concealed-carry in Kansas, II — The second of a three-part series advocating for concealed-carry permits in Kansas, which Gov. Sebelius vetoed. It probably marks the first time I actually tried to think out a solution to a political problem instead of just complaining about it.
• KU sex ed class — About a controversial sex-education class taught at the University of Kansas, from June 2004.
• video games and violence — on those who blame video games — or any other single cultural phenomenon — when teenagers commit violent crimes. From September 2004.
• a careful approach to the dark art (nominated by BillB of Squidly) — on the dark art of interrogating terrorists, criminals, and enemy combatants.
