out of town

I’ll be out of town this weekend.

My younger step-sister is getting married (second time around-she made a much better selection this time) this weekend. Also, it’s her grandparents’ 60th anniversary. Note that I write “her grandparents,” but I call them Grandma and Grandpa.

When my dad and stepmom were married in 1990 (I was in the seventh grade), we had run out of cars for everyone to ride home in. Therefore, I sat on Grandma’s lap packed into an LTD with eight other people. I was nearly 14 then, and about 5′9″, so that was quite a sight.

Anyway, if you need something to do, you should check out some of the natural selections on your right, or browse the evolution archives. Also, there ought to be a Carnival of Cordite somewhere.

Also, Monday is evolution’s third “blogiversary”, so I’ll be back in plenty of time to do some features for that.
