war on spam
Unfortunately, my 900th post has to be about spam.
I’ve installed a referral-spam blocker which is similar to my comment-spam blocker, in that there are “whitelists” and “blacklists” wherein referrers are approved or disallowed, respectively.
I check my referral logs often to see who’s been linking to me, and due to all of the spam in them, they are virtually unreadable. Hopefully this will cut down on all of that.
