school starting
School is about to start in my district, and I’m pretty excited about it. I never thought I’d see the day when I felt that I’d rather deal with students than with the other teachers, yet for some people I’ve met that is the case. Most of the people I’ve met have been nothing less than professional, friendly, and helpful to me - a high school teacher with loads of education and zero experience - but a few have been downright snide, cynical, and nasty.
Why some of them work in a school is beyond me.

The same is probably true for my teachers as well. Luckily, I only understand half of what they say.
