The UN at work
Here’s an underreported story: UN Expresses Shock Over Shooting Incident Involving UN Police in Kosovo (Voice of America). Apparently, a shooting by a Jordanian serving in the UN force in Kosovo targeting American members of the same force took place, killing two Americans and wounding others of various nationalities.
To be totally fair, this isn’t a sanctioned-by-the-UN thing by any means, but it will be interesting to see where the UN investigation leads.
